I have always been interested in space from my earliest memories. I saw an article about Anousheh Ansari a couple of weeks before she went into space as a tourist. She immigrated from Iran to the United States as a teenager, earned a degree in engineering, and started a technology company. She was the most recent person to pay $20 million for a trip on a Russian space craft to the international space station. She was the first Iranian in space and the first female space tourist. I didin't realize it during her trip, but she was blogging during her trip to space. So far I have only had a chance to read the landing post at the conclusion of her trip, but it was very interesting. I will surely enjoy reading her blog. Her blog is at
http:\\spaceblog.xprize.org. Her story is an inspiration to me and a testament to what humans can accomplish.
