Fluorescent Light Bulb Experiment part 6

posted Sunday, 2 April 2006
After the bad results with the FEIT Electric bulbs that I purchased, I replaced it with a Sylvania bulb that had a rebate on it.  The specifications of this bulb are:

Sylvania Soft White mini 60
13 W of power
800 lumens of light output
8000 hours expected life
Reliable operating temperature range of 0 F to 100 F.

One additional thing to note about this experiment is that none of the bulbs that were installed outside ever failed to start at any time in the cold Wisconsin winter this year.  At temperatures around 0 F, they started a little dimmer and then brightened up.

The current experimental table continued from part 5 is listed here again.
